I have an older digital video camera that I really don't use very much. I am trying to find a way to hook it up in the baby's-to-be room and connect it to our TV in our bedroom.

Are there certain cords that I need? Is this possible? I'm hoping to fix it so that it is on, but not recording.

Answer
You can get a wireless transmitter, or buy some extra long Video Cable.. But you may have a problem with the camera's auto off feature. if its not recording it will go off after a certain amount of time.

What is the best 2 room video baby monitor?

Kristin

I would like to get a baby video monitor but I want it in both kids rooms with only one monitor screen. What is the best one on the market for the cheapest price. Or...is there a video system out that has only one camera that I can order a 2nd camera separate for?

Answer
Hi

Like any other products, baby monitors need to suit your lifestyle and satisfy your requirements, even to the slightest of details. So before you purchase one, try to dwell on a number of factors first. These things will not only serve as your guide, they will also help you pick out the best type or brand for your little one.

Some of the things you need to consider are:

Range
Portability
Levels of Interference
Video Monitoring Options

There are more details at the link in the source box about the Best Baby Monitors and I hope they help

Take care

hello i went to bury (my town)before and wanted ot buy one of them things you put on your belly to hear the baby inside and mothercare have to order them only the big mothercare words have them does any1 know what others stores actually sell them??? xx

Answer
Honestly, I wouldn't buy one of those.

I have heard many women complain because they can't hear the heartbeat even after 24 weeks. It just makes you worry more about the baby when you don't hear a heartbeat. You might never be able to hear one. You really have to know what you are doing with those things - where they need to be placed on the belly. If it's not in the exact place, it won't work.

Ok ladies im very worried i'm 24 weeks and 4 days prg with my babygirl i havnt really felt her move yet today yet is it normal at this age not to feel her move very often before i felt little moving before like every other hour now nothing yet. also what can put baby in disstress Thanks Ladies

p/s
i'm very bloated lol could that be a reason i cant feel her
I have a fetal heart doppler and i just heard her heart beat maybe she is just lazy

Answer
Yes it's very normal that early on. She will probably be moving but you might not just be feeling it, especially if you've had your mind on other things today. she's still got quite a bit of room in the at that stage. As long as you feel your baby kick a few times a day you've got nothing to worry about. If she hasn't kicked all day you could end up feeling her kick all night. My baby girl was nocturnal lol.

You should try asking your partner or a friend to put their ear to your stomach, they should then be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. My boyfriend used to do this for me and he would tap the beat on my stomach. You can also get a monitor so you can listen to the baby's heartbeat. I got one for about £30 in mothercare. it just puts your mind at rest to hear the heartbeat when you haven't been feeling much movement.

Congratulations on your pregnancy
