How would you specifically describe a girl with a good personality?

Q. I'm not going to change myself completely to come to people's liking, but I mean, I can't observe or monitor myself as well as others see me. Maybe I have bad flaws in my personality that should be changed for the better, so I'm taking these traits as a guide to be a better person. Change for the better.

Anyways, how would you describe a girl with a good personality? Someone you'd love, or someone you'd admire, or someone you wouldn't find a burden to be present around.

A. A girl with a good personality would be someone who loves animals/people/babies, very forgiving, likes helping people, funny, can talk about anything, easy going/ out going, puts people before herself/ not selfish, wants love, always nice, good attitude, very grateful for what she has, likes people for who they are not what they look like and that's it. :)

what is the probability of twins in the same sac being born healthy?
Q. My doctor is really freaking me out about the fact that my twins are in the same sac and sharing the same placenta. I am 18 weeks now and he is telling me they have a 50% chance of making it if I let the pregnancy go pass 32 weeks. Now I am terrified of the umbilical cord rapping around there necks. Anybody have and experience this and have healthy babies?

A. Your are having "MoMo" babies (monochorionic, monoamniotic or one sac and one placenta)

Fortunately, modern technology allows doctors to observe babies in the womb, and monitor the situation. High resolution ultrasounds, doppler imaging and non-stress tests help to assess symptoms and identify potential cord problems. Cord entanglement and compression are generally a slow process, so parents and medical caregivers have time to make decisions. Some situations will require such close monitoring that the expectant mother must remain hospitalized.

There is no approved treatment or procedure to fix the situation. The only resolution is delivery of the babies. Virtually all MoMo babies are born prematurely. Doctors have to balance the risks of the babies' condition in the womb versus the consequences of prematurity. If cord compression occurs early in the pregnancy, the babies may not be able to survive. Some doctors elect to schedule delivery of MoMo babies at 32, 34 or 36 weeks, believing that the womb environment is simply too dangerous past that point in time. Sometimes steroids may be administered to boost the babies' lung development and improve their chances of surviving outside the womb.

A cesarean section is mandated for MoMo babies to avoid cord prolapse, a situation that occurs when the second babies cord is expelled as the first baby is delivered.

You are having a very rare type of twins as I'm sure you are already aware. Hang in there and let your doctor guide you through. You should have a lot more ultrasounds than normal to keep an eye on the cords and you should be seeing a high risk doctor and not just your regular ob. I am not in your shoes but I feel for you and I hope it all works out. Best of luck to you and your babies.

I have hypothyroidism and pregnant. How does this effect the baby?
Q. I have been on thyroid meds since I was about 6 wks pregnant. Taking 25 mcg. Now at 16 weeks taking 50 mcg. The endocronologist believes I will need to increase to 75 mcg in 2 wks. If they don't get this leveled out what effects does it do to my unborn baby? Now they think I am also Vitamin B12 dificient. What does that do?

A. The baby could be affected probably if you were not seeking treatment. You are being treated and monitored, which is good. A raise of meds is usually necessary while pregnant, too. I've also heard that people with Hashi's (the autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid gland) are often deficient in B-12 as well. You might try either taking an extra supplement based on your levels or just getting a really good prenatal vitamin.

can shoulders get stuck before the head is out?
Q. I've always heard of shoulder dystocia happening once baby's head is all the way out, but can a baby's shoulders get stuck when the baby's head is only, say, halfway out? If so, what would they do in that case?

A. Newborns are pretty flexible, the doctor will first try to rotate and slowly try guiding the baby through. They cannot perform a c section if the babies head is out that I'm aware of. This would make no sense and cause too much stress on the woman. Doctors are knowledgeable, well prepared and certainly experienced knowing how to handle all possibilities that could go wrong. When you're in labor, they are monitoring you and the baby, checking dilation and already know the estimated size of the baby before born. They would preform a c section ahead of time if they thought something just might go wrong. Technology now is beyond our understanding, if you are pregnant please don't worry, its a normal reaction when in your third trimester :)

Where can I find an antenna for a baby monitor?

Q. I broke my antenna for an older model Safety 1st video baby monitor. I don't know what it's called, but it looks like a radio antenna that you pull up. Please help!

A. You should be able to call the manufacturer. I'm sure the unit was made in China but they should have some replacable parts in the U.S. Check the user guide for a phone number to call.

What is the best 2 room video baby monitor?
Q. I would like to get a baby video monitor but I want it in both kids rooms with only one monitor screen. What is the best one on the market for the cheapest price. Or...is there a video system out that has only one camera that I can order a 2nd camera separate for?

A. Hi

Like any other products, baby monitors need to suit your lifestyle and satisfy your requirements, even to the slightest of details. So before you purchase one, try to dwell on a number of factors first. These things will not only serve as your guide, they will also help you pick out the best type or brand for your little one.

Some of the things you need to consider are:

Range
Portability
Levels of Interference
Video Monitoring Options

There are more details at the link in the source box about the Best Baby Monitors and I hope they help

Take care

How do I get rid of these spirits?
Q. Over the past 5-7 months, MANY spirits have been haunting my little sister. Bit marks appear on her in the morning, she doesn't like to go in her room, and often talks to a 'wall' as if someone is there. Recently, we inserted a baby monitor to see what happened. I can look in the monitor and see faces and body's in the crib. How can I get rid of these spirits? HELP! (There is also an adult.)
Also, there are orbs flying everywhere, faces and body's appear on the carpet [They CHANGE facial expressions.], walls, and even look at you.

A. This is no joke an evil spirit is harming your sister. You need a Priest who is strong in faith for this. To deliver her, protect her and cleanse her. DO NOT try and get rid of it (them) by yourself, they are intelligent beings and do not have any kind of morals. You also need a house cleansing and a house blessing but get a Priest first to get rid of the demon and its friends, he will also guide you with the cleansing and blessing. All you said above is classic demon activity. Call this Warrior Priest who is also a demonologist RIGHT NOW.

Any good remedies for getting rid of a headache..?
Q. I've had a headache all day, and I want it gone :( but I can't swallow pills and I already took baby asprin in the morning, and I took some liquid childrens medicine almost two hours ago. but it still won't go away. it's at bay right now, like it doesn't hurt as much but it's still bothering me a lot. and I can feel it like behind my right eye. and tips or remedies are appreciated. thanks in advance!

A. IHave you seen an orthodontist/dentist to be examined for TMJ/TMD. Tension stress from your TM joint in your jaw can make you sickly with migraines if out of place even a smidge.I got it from a jolt to my head and the tmj muscles stretched out causing sickening headaches, face pain and ear aches. Please check even with your doctor about it.

Many things can trigger a HEADACHES/MIGRAINES: using your arm in an awkward way (bowling) when you don't normally do that, lack of food (skipping meals), head resting in a hairdressers sink, going to a concert with light show, video game screen with fast movements & flashing lights, staring in the light (sun) constantly on your eyes...etc.

You may want to check your settings on all your digital items that you are using. Each device you use has a warning that MANY COMPLETELY IGNORE. Go under your settings for your screen settings on your computer, laptops, televisions, monitors, digital games, etc. AND LOWER THE BRIGHTNESS ON THE SCREEN.

Also, don't forget that all these items are a heat source and depending on how close you are to the item you are using, you are affecting your personal body sources. (ie. flickering lights affect the eyes, laptops on laps affect fluids. etc.)

You may be completely dehydrated if you aren't drinking adequates amounts of water daily. Here's a guide to help you figure out how much water you require daily for your weight.

? Your Weight Times (.5) Equals Divided By 8oz (or 1 Cup) Equals # Cups of Water/Day

 150lbs x .5 = 75/8 = 9 Cups of Water/day
 175lbs x .5 = /8 = 11 Cups of Water/day
 200lbs x .5 = 100/8 = 12.5 Cups Water/day

If you take your medication with an extra caffeine drink, it will hit your system faster, but that only means enough to swallow the medication and wash it down. It does not mean drink an entire can or you will suffer from extreme caffeine withdrawal (rebound migraines).

1. I used to use a combination of medications which included 400mg Ibuprofen 4x a day with food. This takes the swelling and inflammation down. DO NOT exceed1600mg in one day and you may need prilosec for stomach protection as ALL ANTI INFLAMMATORIES are difficult on the stomach. ***You can use Tylenol with Ibuprofen and Aspirin watch for daily maximums & don't exceed.

2. Robaxacet is Tylenol (acetominophen) combined with methocarbonal (muscle relaxant)...this also comes with codeine on request from the pharmacist. This only relaxes any tight muscles around the pain and helps reduce some pain. You can use Robaxacet with Ibuprofen and Aspirin, BUT NOT Tylenol as it's already an ingredient in this pill.

3. Robaxacyl is Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) combines with methocarbonal (muscle relaxant)...this has a blood thinning active ingredient and isn't ideal for anyone under age 16 years or complications with blood pressure, ailments, etc. This both takes down the inflammation as well as treats the pain. You can use Robaxacyl with Ibuprofen and Tylenol, BUT NOT Aspirin as it's already an ingredient in this pill.
------------------------------...
4. Aleve is a Nonsteroidal Anti Inflammatory (Naproxen) which will helps reduce the inflammation, and as the inflammation decreases so does the pain; BUT you CANNOT mix this drug with any of the above mentioned safely.

5. Dynamint has been used on horses legs for years, but it does an amazing job on sore neck muscles. It's ingredients are Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptus Oil , Tea Tree Oil and Calendula Oil.

6. Deep Cold Gold is an alternative rub that works very well on tight aching tendons on your upper shoulders, neck and TMJ joints.

When I was 16 years old I had severe tension headaches that made the ligament behind my ear pop out like a big ole bump. The doctor prescribed a low dose of Elavil (amitryptaline) & it was gone within days. The Elavil in high doses is used for depression but they use it for car accidents because it relaxes the muscles from whiplash.

If you experience a headache with ANY LOSS OF WEAKNESS, SLURRING, IMBALANCE or FEVER, then you need to seek medical attention immediately for a consult to make sure there isn't something more serious going on.
