Answer
Cheez-It is an American snack food cracker manufactured by the Kellogg Company through the Sunshine Biscuits division. They are roughly 26 by 24 mm (1.0 by 0.95 inch) rectangular crackers made with wheat flour, vegetable oil, sharp yellow cheese, salt, and spices. There are a variety of related Cheez-It products, including Baby Swiss, White Cheddar, Parmesan & Garlic, Cheddar Jack, Pepper Jack, Italian Four Cheese, Colby, Reduced Trans Fat, Snack Mix (formerly called Party Mix), Snack Mix Double Cheese, Hot & Spicy (made with Tabasco), Mozzarella, Duoz Sharp Cheddar & Parmesan, Duoz Smoked Cheddar & Monterey Jack, and the Cheez-It Big which is a larger cracker more suitable for garnishing or dipping.[1]

Cheez-It crackers
According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office trademark records, the first "Cheez-It" Cheese Crackers were sold by Green & Green Company of Dayton, Ohio, in May 1921. After the Wall Street Crash of 1929, The Green & Green Company was acquired by The Sunshine Biscuit Company, founded in 1902 as the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company. The Keebler Company acquired Sunshine in 1996, and Keebler was in turn acquired by Kellogg in 2001. Cheez-It crackers are still sold under the Sunshine label.[2]

A former advertising slogan was "Get your own box" which was found on the backs of most boxes. One side also contained the so-called "Anatomy of a Cheez-It." In mid 2007, the boxes were changed to show a picture of a large wedge of cheese labeled "Actual Taste," while a Cheez-It is shown propping it up, labeled "Actual Size." The new slogan in place of "Get Your Own Box" is "Real cheese matters.", with Jim Cummings as the spokesperson in the television commercials.[3]

Something came out of my vagina, what could it of been?

Sacha

I had been on the pill for less than 3 months, last week I missed one pill, last Saturday I had sex and worried that I might of been pregnant. I didn't take the pill after and it is now Thursday and I got my period and have been having really bad period pains!! I was sitting down in pain and then something came out of my vagina. I don't know what it is and I'm really scared!! Could it of been a baby? HELP!

Answer
More likely to have been a waylaid condom... or possibly a tampon? but 'something' is a bit vague.

In a week an embryo would barely be visible - IIRC it would still be a blastocyst at that stage ~ a ball of cells about 0.1-0.2mm across. Been a while since I was monitoring progress day to day on that... counting down days and hours till our next ultrasound.

Did you/do you use a baby monitor with the baby in the other room at night...or did/does your baby sleep in your room?

Do you think any either of those are a bad choice?

Answer
My son slept in our room with us until he was reliably sleeping through the night. After that we moved him into his own room across the hall. I wanted to keep him as close to me as possible when he was waking up often at night so that I wouldn't have to walk as far to get him and put him back to bed. Lazy, I know, but practical. He slept in his bassinet at the foot of my bed, which meant I didn't even have to get out of bed to tend to him. I just don't see any joy in getting out of bed, walking around the house, getting baby, putting baby back, and walking back to bed when you have to do it several times a night.

We moved him into his own room across the hall, left both doors open, and I made certain the baby monitor was positioned close to my head so that I would hear him. I don't know what I was thinking, but we didn't need the baby monitor at all. I mean, he was only 20-30 feet away with both doors open. When he cried, I heard him. Even in our larger home now, I can hear him cry across the house with both of our bedroom doors shut.

No, I don't think either choices are inherently bad. I do think that co-sleeping, done properly, is the safest option for a newborn since it prevents SIDS. It also helps babies sleep better.

Is it advisable to have a residential house near a landfill?

Leda Fox

we intend to procure a house which is located 1 mile from a landfill in Merano, Rancho Valencia, Tucson, Arizona. Are there disadvantages in living near a landfill? Particularly to health concerns?

Answer
The U.S. population produced more than 236 million tons of garbage in 2003 (about 4.5 pounds of waste per person per day, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)). All of this waste gets put into landfills, which are decreasing in numbers (from 8,000 in 1988 to 1,767 in 2002) but gaining in size.

Landfills produce leachate, a toxic liquid squeezed out of the garbage that contains a slew of chemicals.

Today's landfills are significantly bigger than they were just two decades ago, and increasing numbers are reaching full capacity. When a landfill is full, it gets capped and usually planted with grass, the end result looking like a large, grassy hill, with small chimneys to releases gasses. A closed landfill does not look particularly threatening, but evidence is pouring in that there's more going on than meets the eye.

How Landfills Work

Trash is compacted into tight blocks called cells before being deposited in the landfill. It's then covered with multiple layers, including a thick covering of soil, at the end of each day. Once the landfill reaches capacity, it's covered with a plastic material, then soil and grass.

"Most U.S. landfills are called dry tombs," says Steve Wall of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). "Ideally, landfills are carefully engineered and monitored systems that keep household garbage dry so they don't contaminate surrounding water or air."

Safeguards are in place to keep toxins in the landfill, and out of surrounding communities, however, "people are concerned because trash inside lasts for generations," Wall says.

Landfills Leak Toxins

Landfills produce significant amounts of methane gas, along with leachate, a toxic liquid that comes out of all that compressed trash. Leachate is full of organic and inorganic pollutants, including toluene, phenols, benzene, ammonia, dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), chlorinated pesticides, heavy metals and endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

Landfills often have pipes designed to route and collect leachate to keep it from contaminating ground water (which can become your tap water). However, even the best collection systems and landfill liners inevitably deteriorate and leak, according to the EPA:

"No liner ... can keep all liquids out of the ground for all time. Eventually liners will either degrade, tear, or crack and will allow liquids to migrate out of the unit. Some have argued that liners are devices that provide a perpetual seal against any migration from a waste management unit. EPA has concluded that the more reasonable assumption, based on what is known about the pressures placed on liners over time, is that any liner will begin to leak eventually."

If and when a landfill does leak, toxins are allowed to escape directly into the environment, where they can contaminate air, water and soil.

Health Risks Linked to Landfills

If you have a choice, it's probably best to locate your home at least two miles from a landfill.

Studies have shown possible increased risks of certain types of cancer, including bladder, brain and leukemia, among people who live near landfills.

Further, a study by researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine also found that babies born to mothers who live near landfills have a greater risk of birth defects.

"There was a significantly overall increased risk of neural-tube defects, malformations of the cardiac septa (hole-in-the-heart), and malformations of the great arteries and veins in residents near the landfill sites in our study," the researchers said.

And, a recent study found that living near a landfill could expose residents to chemicals that can reduce immune system function and lead to an increased risk of infections.

As opposed to children living in clean areas, the study found that "children living near to waste sites, whether landfills or contaminated bodies of water, are hospitalized more frequently with acute respiratory infections, said Dr. David O. Carpenter, director of the Institute for Health and the Environment, at the State University of New York at Albany. Children living near waste sites also had increased rates of hospitalization for asthma.

Carpenter said the extent to which toxic landfill contaminants suppress the immune system has been "underestimated."

"While our specific study focused on air transport of the contaminants, they are also in our food," Carpenter said, "and the effect of exposure should not be different whether it is via food or air. So we really need to get these chemicals out of our environment to the greatest degree possible."

Ideally, we would all live in pristine environments, free from pollution of all kinds. Realistically, it may be worthwhile to avoid living near landfills, if you have a choice. If you don't, try to stay more than two miles away, as the health effects, at least in the birth defects study, lessened beyond this point.

How to fix my new computer Internet?

I just got a Samsung Notebook Series 5 and it was a certified open box from Geek Squad which means they made sure everything was working properly before they sold it and when I brought it home and tried to go on the Internet it didn't work. My sister was using the same wifi and her computer was working just fine. So, I went to the control panel and clicked on troubleshooting for the Internet connection and it said there was a broken cable. I don't see any broken cable. It maybe internal in the actual laptop. The only time the Internet works is when I first turn it on and the longer lm on it or the more tabs I open up, the Internet stops working. I already brought it in TWICE to Geek squad and they haven't done sh** to fix it and I'm ready to just get a new computer. It's still within its warranty so they have been looking at it for free and I think that's maybe why they aren't doing anything. -.- I just really want to get it fixed! Can I do anything? Or do I just need a new computer?

Answer
When the computer tells you the cable is broken or disconnected, it is talking about the Ethernet LAN connection not the WiFi connection.

Most laptops have both Ethernet and WiFi adapters.

You could try connecting directly to your wireless router via a Ethernet cable.

You can get a stronger WiFi adapter that will improve your wireless range.

Wireless adapters come in many types and sizes, you may want a model with external antennas. Here is a highly rated USB model with dual antennas. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006JWMOOI/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B006JWMOOI&linkCode=as2&tag=excharge-20

That being said,

Wireless signals are affected by many factors including distance, wall density, electrical interference, directional antenna range, etc.

All of these factors will affect your actual wireless range. As wireless connection quality varies the connection speeds are renegotiated. The WLAN connection may start at 150 Mbps and end up at less than 10 Mbps or drop entirely.

Note: The WLAN connection speed is only between the device and the router, you are still limited by your WAN Internet speed provided by your ISP.

Often signal strength (bars) displayed by your device can be misleading, WiFi interference can cause havoc with consistent speed. You can prove this fact by moving your WiFi device closer to the wireless router and retesting the speeds. http://speedtest.net Be sure the wireless router is not close to other electrical equipment that may interfere with the WiFi signal.

You should try to centrally locate your wireless router or gateway up high and away from dense walls and electrical and 2.4 GHz wireless interference such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.

For serious gaming or video streaming your best bet is always a direct Ethernet connection. Ethernet is unaffected by wireless interference and will give you a rock solid, stable network connection.

Baby video monitors - Is LED (light-emitting-diode) safe for babies?

Jessica

As I know, the LED (light-emitting-diode) lights on the baby so that we can see our baby at night time. But I wonder if I use the monitor for a long time, is the LED harmful or absolutely safe for my baby?
Does anybody know?
Thanks.

Answer
The emissions (light) from the LED that allow your camera to pick up an image in the "dark" are in the infrared range of the spectrum. No harmful effects would be expected from light in this range, and in any case the emissions from such a webcam-light are of much lower intensity than infrared emissions from a standard 100w lightbulb. So there shouldn't be any worries about safety.

Should I buy my own Internet cable modem or use the one from the cable company?

best baby monitor mac

Kip

Is there any reason one way or another? Will a store bought modem work with my cable?

Answer
It depends,

Does the cable company give you a modem for free or do they want to lease you one at a monthly fee?

If so, how much is the fee?

Cable modems are relatively inexpensive and renting one can cost you more in the long run. Here is a good blog post: http://isp1.us/blog/time-warner-cable-internet-sued-for-modem-lease-rip-off/

Do you only have one computer or do you want to connect multiple devices to your cable Internet?

Two types of Internet devices are commonly sold.

1. Combination modem / routers, often called gateways.

2. Stand alone routers which can be connected to a stand alone modem.

DSL and Cable modems use different technology, for this reason you can't use a cable gateway (DOCSIS) with DSL or use a DSL gateway (ADSL2+) with a cable Internet connection.

Depending on the type of service you have, you'll need the proper type of wireless gateway or a broadband modem and separate wireless router.

Unlike DSL, for cable systems separate modems and routers are more common, although some cable gateway devices are available.

A highly rated DOCSIS 3.0 cable gateway is the Motorola SBG6580. It is currently about $120 at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040IUI46/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=excharge-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0040IUI46

You could also buy a standalone cable modem and connect it to a separate wireless router.

Be sure to get a newer compatible DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem such as the Motorola SB6120. It supports bonded channels and will increase your cable Internet performance.

If you buy an older DOCSIS 2.0 model and you are paying for a speed tier over 25 Mbps. then you will probably not see the throughput that you should.

I have Cox Cable 30 Mbps Internet and have had good luck with a DOCSIS 3.0 Motorola 6120. http://isp1.us/reviews/motorola-sb6120-surfboard/

You don't have to buy your modem or router from your ISP, you can get one from a local retailer such as BestBuy or Fry's or online from places like Amazon.

Most cable Internet providers use the cable modem's MAC address to activate the modem.

Every device that has a network interface has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. This is usually expressed in hexadecimal such as 10:25:A4:59:EF:1C

You'll have to call your cable provider with the MAC of the new modem so they can activate it on your account. The MAC address is usually printed on a sticker attached to the modem.

Separate wireless routers are fairly inexpensive. http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=wireless%20router&url=search-alias%3Daps&sprefix=wireless%20ro%2Caps%2C490&tag=excharge-20

As far as the brand goes, the brand is not as important as the model. Some manufacturers release a good model but the next is crap. I would look at the Amazon reviews of models that interest you. Even if you don't buy from Amazon the reviews will tell you a lot about which models to avoid. Look for at least 20 or more reviews with at least a 4 star rating. Read a few and see if they sound like the particular model will work for your application.

Wireless signals are affected by many factors including wall density, electrical interference, directional antenna range, etc.

Just because a particular wireless router works good at one location does not guarantee that it will have similar performance in a different location due to variance in the factors listed above.

If you are getting a new wireless router or gateway try to centrally locate it up high and away from dense walls and electrical and 2.4 GHz wireless interference such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.

Good Luck...

Is it ok to take NITROFURANTOIN MONO/MAC 100mg Caps at 33week pregnant if prescribe by a doctor?

jr

See ma girlfriend is pregnant, and she has a uti. Is ok for her to take NITROFURANTOIN MONO/MAC 100mg Caps?

Answer
Macrobid (brand name of Nitrofurantoin) is what is known as a Category B drug during pregnancy, meaning that there is no suspected harm to the unborn baby. HOWEVER, there are risks taking it late in pregnancy (usually in the last 2 to 4 weeks). If the doctor knows her history, how far along she is, and is trying to treat an indicated infection, I would say she is probably okay. Just monitor the baby and report any abnormal symptoms ASAP. Generally, this medication is taken for a short enough period of time that it's not going to be too detrimental. Again, always better to be safe than sorry. She should be okay. Just monitor her health and the baby's as well while taking the entire course of medication. Congratulations to you and your girlfriend :)

we are looking for a good affordable baby monitor. We live next to a small airport and are concerned with interference. suggestions - advice - do you live near an airport and have a baby monitor?

Answer
I live about 10 miles from the airport. We use summertime hand held monitor and it works good. At times, there is audio static but not enough to be bothersome. We love our monitor. It run on 900 mhz frequency and not 2.4 like most phones and laptop gear.

Will two different baby monitors in the same house cause them to have lots of static and basically not work?

Jenny

I still have a monitor in my three year old's room- I believe it's called a Fisher Price Lights and Sounds monitor and it only has two channels to choose from. We're expecting another baby in a couple of months and I will obviously need another monitor in the baby's room (which is right across the hall). I would like to know if anyone has any experience with having two monitors in the same house and if they interfere with each other so much (static, etc.) that they are useless.
Thanks!

Answer
They only interfere with each other if they are on the same frequency. You will have to buy another monitor that has two channels to switch back and forth with. Leave one on one channel and the other on a different, otherwise yes they will interfere.

Captain

I wanted to get your opinion on where the baby should sleep, and why.

I feel like the baby should sleep in his/her room, with a baby monitor, so he/she grows accustom to it. Sure, it probably is a pain to get up and walk down the hall a few times a night. But doesn't it promote better sleeping habits?

My boyfriend thinks he/she should sleep in the room with us, in a bassinet, so he/she is close to us for safety and convenience. Won't the baby eventually expect to sleep in the room with us?

Answer
In your room.. in a bassinet or a co-sleeper. My son hated his bassinet so we got him the Snuggle Nest adult bed co-sleeper that is placed right inside your bed.. he loved it and slept there until he was 3 months. He had no problem transitioning into his crib either. He likes his crib. I am not into the Pack N Play choice for a place to sleep at night.. it is meant to be packing for playing or for a quick nap, not to be used as a bed. It's uncomfortable in my opinion. Best Wishes. ;-)

What would you say would be the essentials to register for - for your baby shower?

What did you use most, what did you baby like, every answer is appreciated!
First time mom to be!

Answer
Well I always feel it is the parents responsibility to get the big things like the nursary furnature but some items to register for would be:

Moby Wrap or sling
diaper bag
bottles (if you plan to use them)
boppy pillow (I dont breastfeed but my daughter loves to be propped up on it to look around and for tummy time)
swing (my biggest lifesaver!)
playpen (I dont use it much yet because she is still young, but now that she is learning to roll it comes in handy)
humidifier (I use the Carne kind from babies r us...looks like a ducky)
your obvious blankets, towels, clothing (I suggest asking for slightly bigger clothing as people tend to get neworn or 0-3 months and your baby may not fit these things long. My daughter was never in newborn and she outgrew most 0-3 month items by 7 weeks old)
carseat (I dont know if you plan on getting a travel system or a converstable carseat. I got a travel system and I am already planning to sell it...shes 12 weeks old. I find the stroller too bulky...I use a Moby instead and I find the infant carseat a royal pain in the butt. Some people love it however and use the carseat to sit the baby in so this will be personal choice)
baby monitor if your home is big enough to need one

another suggestion I have is to register for things you wont need right away but will later. I find so many people ask for all the "now" stuff then have nothing for months down the road. Thinks like a high chair or booster, clothing for later (light sleepers and onsies are used in all seasons so it wont matter what season your child fits 6,9 or 12 month clothes) feeding bowls and spoons (I have a bowl with a handle...its great because she cant bat it out of my hands) sippy cups, potty treaining seat or toilet.....things like that.
playmat (another huge lifesaver)

Is this just sheer exhaustion, or is this some inborn thing to make me keep checking on her? If it weren't for the baby monitor I would be in her room ever 10 minutes.

Answer
It's common for new moms to have hypersensitive instincts with regards to their new babies, particularly in the early days. It's due to a combination of the protective mother's instinct in humans/animals, the anxiety of being wholly responsible for a new fragile being who is completely dependent on you, and yes, as you said, sheer exhaustion. Instead of being able to rest while their babies are sleeping, many new parents find themselves checking on their newborns multiple times, just to be sure that they're still breathing! It will improve as you gain confidence in your childcare abilities and become acclimated to being a parent. Needless to say, you'll probably still be the first one to hear her crying, the first to feel her pain, and the first to share in her every joy.

How can i improve my wifi signal?

Jose

Okay, so my room is upstairs and my modem is in my parents room downstairs. My room has TERRIBLE wifi signal. Whenever I try to play games on my ps3 or pc , I always lag out of games and it is very annoying. I dont know much about modems and routers, but I was told that if i get a router, it has to be connected to the modem, and it would not make much of a difference if I got one because it would be downstairs. Can anyone explain to me how I can improve the wifi signal in my room? Thanks.

Answer
For stationary devices such as desktop computers or devices used for serious gaming or video streaming your best bet is a direct Ethernet cable connection between your gaming device or computer and the router. Ethernet is unaffected by wireless interference and will give you a rock solid, stable network connection.

If it is not feasible to run Ethernet cable the next best option would be a set of powerline network adapters http://isp1.us/reviews/netgear-xavb2101-powerline-adapter/

You plug one in by your router and one in the room where you need access and connect them to the devices with standard Ethernet patch cables. You can also connect a inexpensive Ethernet switch or WAP (Wireless Acces Point) to connect multiple simultaneous devices. The network signals are transmitted over your existing home electrical wiring which will not be affected by wireless interference. There is still overhead in the connection but it is much more stable than WiFi.

It is not a good idea to connect multiple routers, without some network knowledge. It will work but would require proper configuration of both devices. Your wireless signals will interfere with each other if they're operating on the same wireless channel. A router also acts as a DHCP server to assign IP addresses, you only want one DHCP service running. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_Host_Configuration_Protocol

That being said,

Wireless signals are affected by many factors including distance, wall density (concrete), electrical interference, directional antenna range, etc.

All of these factors will affect your actual wireless range, speed and connection quality.

You should try to centrally locate your wireless router or gateway up high and away from dense walls and electrical and 2.4 GHz wireless interference such as microwave ovens, cordless phones, baby monitors, etc.

You can also move your WiFi device closer to the wireless router to get a stronger WiFi signal.

If you still have a weak wireless signal you can either get a wireless extender or a wireless adapter with better range for your WiFi device.

Wireless adapters come in many types and sizes, you may want a high power USB model with external antennas. http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&keywords=high%20power%20wireless%20adapter&linkCode=ur2&qid=1374458138&rh=n%3A13983791%2Ck%3Ahigh%20power%20wireless%20adapter%2Cp_72%3A2661618011&rnid=2941120011&tag=excharge-20

Devices such as wireless extenders can expand your wireless range. The wireless range extender receives weak wireless signals and repeats them to extend the signal range to greater distances.

Here are the two most popular highly rated models on Amazon.

We are moving into a new house this weekend, and my son will have a playroom in the basement, and the computer/book room will be in the upstairs. I want to have baby monitors in both areas so in case im on the main floor, or upstairs while he is down, etc, i can make sure everything is ok (he's almost 5 so he's old enough to play by himself for awhile). I havent shopped for baby monitors in years, so i dont know what they have these days. Do they have anything with 2 transmitters? Like so i can have one upstairs, and one down...and then the one receiver to hear both places? Or would i have to get 2 seperate monitors? I tried looking on some baby shopping webpages, but i dont understand what they mean when they say dual this and two of that...im not technically inclined. You ever heard of anything like this?

Answer
I'm looking at this book "Baby Bargains" (a must-buy!!!). They have a section that tells you which monitors they think are best. Here's what they say, broken down in good, better, and best:

GOOD: Fisher Price Sounds 'N Lights (starts at $20), no fancy features but a really good starting point
BETTER: Graco's imonitor ($55 single, $90 dual receivers), has digital technology, rechargeable batteries, and 2000 foot range.
BEST: Sony BabyCall NTM-910 is the top rated and starts at $40. Does a lot of fancy stuff, which you might like or not.

My advice is to go online and read customer reviews as well. I got Summer's video monitor for my shower, but this book doesn't happen to endorse these kind because of too many parent complaints.

Answer
Hi Pam,

It depends on your budget and what you want from a baby monitor. Basically there are three ways of monitoring; audio, video, or movement sensing. Generally the cheaper baby monitors are just audio ones, and the more expensive options use video. For under $100, I can recommend the Angelcare Baby Movement and Sound Monitor or for a video monitor, the Levana Jena. For higher end baby monitors, the Samsung SEW-3037W and the Levana Astra are both good choices.

Good Luck...

What is the best 2 room video baby monitor?

Kristin

I would like to get a baby video monitor but I want it in both kids rooms with only one monitor screen. What is the best one on the market for the cheapest price. Or...is there a video system out that has only one camera that I can order a 2nd camera separate for?

Answer
Hi

Like any other products, baby monitors need to suit your lifestyle and satisfy your requirements, even to the slightest of details. So before you purchase one, try to dwell on a number of factors first. These things will not only serve as your guide, they will also help you pick out the best type or brand for your little one.

Some of the things you need to consider are:

Range
Portability
Levels of Interference
Video Monitoring Options

There are more details at the link in the source box about the Best Baby Monitors and I hope they help

Take care

I am looking for a new baby monitor and I need one for under $50. If its digital/video I can spend under $100. If you have any suggestions on good ones it would be so helpful!! thanks!

Answer
Ours cost us close to $100.00, but I absolutely loved it. We had the Angel Care Monitor, it had an alarm on it to let us know if our daughter stopped breathing. After 10 seconds of no movement, a quick beep would go off. If no movement for 20 seconds the complete alarm would go off. It was absolutely wonderful. I was able to sleep so much better knowing that an alarm would go off if my daughter stopped breathing at night while I was sleeping..

How can I move without moving bedbugs in to?

Love

I have a four month old so I'm not sure how much spraying and bombing can be done. We are getting rid of the couch which is where they were first.
We have a lot of baby stuff, and all of it is coming with us, that's a crib, loads of clothes and diapers (I stocked up before she was born), toys, both plastic and stuffed animals. Gettin rid of the stuffed animals is not an option as they are very special.
In our room there are at least 200 books, both hard and soft cover that my husband will not get rid of. Then we have a night stand, dresser, and bed frame. There are also clothes and dream catchers.
We have two infant car seats that stay in the house unless we're going somewhere. A bassinet, bouncer and a large swing that has a frame I'm worried they could get into, the christmas tree and christmas ornaments are also sittin in a corner of the living room since we have no storage. We also have a large entertainmment center but I'm going to talk to my husband about getting rid of that.
Electronics: microwave, 2 coffee pots (my husand and I drink different stuff), a hair dryer, lap tops, baby monitor, tv, humidifier and DS. How do I make sure they're not in my electronics
oh, and some of my daughter's toys are stuffed animals with rattles in those, can those be dried in high heat?? And there are two guitars, one bass one electric

Answer
It is an easy job. If you stop bites immediately and leave CO2 traps. You will kill 100% bed bugs within 3 months. You don't need to dump anything.

Bed bugs hide behind wall, under carpet, in a laptop, and in everywhere. It is non sense to kill them by chemicals or steamer on contact only and let survived bugs bite and lay up to 300 eggs per bug.

Most people donât know how to kill bed bugs inside laptops or how to stop bites immediately even bed bugs migrate from other apartments tonight. You donât need to search any bed bugs and should have solved bed bug problem now if you received right tool today. My 16 year old best friend is movin in with me. She is having twins. I need a list of things that I have to buy.

Answer
Little babies really don't "need" that much -- a few gowns or "oneies" (only a few, they will outgrow them fast) - bottles, unless she intends to breastfeed, a few "receiving" blankets, a place to sleep - twins can sleep in one crib until they are old enough to roll over - one at each end -
Then they will need separate cribs (you can use porta cribs to save space)
They will need Car seats (back facing). A Monitor would be nice -
Anything more is "icing" - look for bargains at thrift stores, etc.
Twins are likely to be premature-so expect them to be early and possibily need to stay in the NICU until mature enough to bring home.
I'm not even gonna discuss a pregnant 16 yo - condoms would have been much cheaper --
Perhaps she is considering adoption?

what causes vomiting and running stomach? could my twins be having a problem?

Worried La

My 12 month twin girls are has this problem.yesterday one vomited a lot and she slept most of the day.today she woke up ok and she has been active the whole day but she has a running stomach. This evenin her twin sister started vomiting and she vomited almost everything she has eaten,so i gave her water and she vomited it afterwards.one has two teeths and the other one has none.but no one has a swollen gum.

Answer
yep, it happens. And it is sad because we want to help them feel better. Check their temp to make sure they are not too hot, then what I would do is give her a little bottle of watered down pedialyte. Only about 2 ounces. Give this to her in a bottle and monitor to make sure she does not throw it up. Since she has runny stool, lay off the milk for a while too. You can give a little bit to each baby. This sounds like a little stomach bug, but it's just their bodies way of adapting to certain bacteria, etc. It's very normal for a baby to get diarrhea. Pretty soon their appetite will go up tremendously, that is how you know they are better...

Dianaprinc

I want an intercom for my house between just two rooms - but I want it to be 2-way (so it doesn't cut out one of the talkers). I'd be happy to use a baby monitor, intercom, or phone with intercom - but I can't tell what would have 2-way speaking. My phone now is only 1-way and it doesn't work well. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Answer
Go to Radio Shack, they have different kinds and price ranges.

What is the best video baby monitor out there?

Q. I'm looking for a video monitor that can have several different cameras (need it to monitor at least two rooms). I have read reviews on many, many brands and products but they are all so contradictory. Any advice from someone who has one and either loves it or doesn't like it would be very helpful.
Can you be more specific....there are a lot of different Summer Infant video monitors. Why do you like it?

Answer
Summer is the one we have and we love it..

How to make old iphone 3g as Home Spy Camera?

Trueme

I have two iPhones, the old iPhone 3g and the new iPhone 4s. now i wanted to use my old iphone 3g (iOs version updated) as a Home Spy Camera and wanted to watch my kids at home live stream to my new iPhone 4s while im at work. i also got my Home Wifi network. is there any best iphone application out there for this matter? or is it possible to use my Home IP address to use and access it for this concept?

Answer
There are many training videos telling us how to make iphone as home spy camera on line.
Um...I've found two:
1. http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-use-iphone-as-spy-camera-423938/
2. http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-make-iphone-secret-spy-camera-423940/
The second video looks like very easy to access, but I don't know if it is useful for you.

If these two ways are not fit, I suggest you to buy a Baby Monitor or Home Spy Camera. You can visit this online store:
http://www.accessbuy.com/wholesale-Baby-Monitor_120.html
http://www.accessbuy.com/wholesale-IP-Camera_113.html
It's a wholesaler, so its price is very low.

I'm 19 & I told my man I wanted to make a baby last month & he was soo excited; we have unprotected sex , but we only have sex like 2-3 times a month .. Should we be having sex more or just be patient & that time I get pregnant will happen ?? What are yall opinions ?

Answer
Don't listen to these pointless answers. You're old enough to realise what you're doing. So 2-3 times is not enough. If you want to max you're chances you need me having sex every 2-3 days through out the month. Some people can't as work different hours and buy an ovulation monitor the price is something like 60 pounds though which is quite pricey. But that will tell you if you're fertile that day. So most women ovulate on the 14th day of their cycle if their cycle is 28 days. Online there is ovulation calendars they are so easy to do you just write in cycle length and when you're last period was and tells you you're fertile phase and estimated ovulation date. I done quite a few and am trying conceive myself this month. Remember its an estimate but why not try it? I done the fertie phase it told me and had intercourse a few days before and few days after it said to make sure. If your periods are regular it will also be much easier to get pregnant and plan on it, where as if you're not regular you have to try for more days. Just remember to not stress as you will not get pregnant, just try be calm and relaxed. Also try get to know you're body there are certain signs when ovulating. I noticed change of discharge it was kinda watery clear and strechy. There are loads of things online which will help massively. Try the ovulations calendars you can even get apps on some of them, and will remind you what days you should be having intercourse also try keep the semen inside you for about 30 minutes makes it easier to travel if you lay on your back. With legs slightly up. Good luck remember if you're not pregnant this month, there's always next month it usually happens when you least expect it. Best wishes x
