A. Sure you can! The trick is to know when you are ovulating. There are several ways to help you with this. I use the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor, as well as ovulatin predictor kits to double check. I also observe my cervical mucus. If that's possible for you, it really is a dead giveaway of approaching ovulation. I'll attach several websites that have really helped me a lot during this time! Best of luck and lots of baby dust!

Q. My Period is seriously like clockwork every month, I get it exactly every 24 days for 4 days. This time I was getting all of the symptoms, every single one and my period was 4 days late. I was for sure I was pregnant. We did the baby-dance the day before the day of and the day after my ovulation. I got every symptom in the book; nausea, back ack, frequent urination(not a uti, i only had to pee every 5 seconds, no pain), raised bbt, constant headaches, sore breasts, face broken out like crazy. I got little cramps off and on before my expected period which i never get. And no AF to be seen. Every time AF comes I get excruciating cramps on the day of and a very heavy flow, then the last 3 days get lighter and lighter till it's just spotting. This month the day came and she was no where to be seen, so I thought it was time. I took the 5 hpts and they speak the truth they all said negative. I thought I got a faint positive but it must have been my eyes playing tricks on me. I got my period 4 days late not sure why and its acting weird. I am very curious why it was late and we have been TTC for a year now and it's never done that before. Now I say its acting weird because it was late and the first i thought it was spotting but then allot more came out, I also did not get my classic rolling in pain cramps day of. And I did not need my supers because it was just a little less than regular flow. I know thats alot of information but I wanted to give you all the details. I know I should go to my doctor to find out what's wrong. But I wanted to see if this had happened to anyone and they ended up being pregnant? A. It sounds like you may have a deficiency in your Luteal phase( post-ovulatory). Doc say that when you don't have a long enough luteal phase and its shorter than normal, the zygote does not have enough time to implant before the levels of progesterone drop and the AF begins. You may want to monitor you hormone levels for at least a month to rule this out. Due to your short cycles its a dead giveaway. It may be as simple as a shot of Ovidrel , Pregonly or HCG hormone to lengthen this phase of your cycle. Sometimes simply progesterone supplements in suppositories form are equally effective. can pet budgies drink milk or not!?
Q. hi im getting a pet budgie and my friend has one and it keeps trying to drink her milk i was wondering if milk is good for them or are they not aload it atall!

A. Let's think about this.....
Budgies (aka parakeets) are BIRDS, and not mammals. The feathers and lack of fur are a dead giveaway.
Mammals nurse their babies providing milk. Birds, not being mammals, don't.
Where and why would a bird of any type have access to milk in the wild? Seen any birds sucking on cows teats lately? (apologies to anyone who I just made spew coffee all over their monitor). Why is your friend giving her bird cows milk again?
Unless, your avian vet specifically tells you to feed your budgie milk, it's really a pretty dumb idea. It's far better to fed it a diet specifically formulated for it which resembles its wild one.
Besides water? That would be more fresh clean water. What else would they drink? Soda? Hard to open those damn aluminum cans with those little feet :).
