Why is so much money allocated to space research?

Q. This is a fair quesion, I am totally ignorent on why and I don't know the benefits of this spending. Also wouldn't it be better to spend money on medicine and things like that which have much higher chance of making money back?

How often do i have to get oil changes?

In March of this year i bought myself a daily commute to work , it's a 2012 Lexus IS250, and i feel stupid, i have never gotten an oil change! now it wont start! How often should i change oil? How much is the dealer gonna charge to fix my car?
The electricals work ! could it be the battery? TO be honest i haven't driven it in like 2 months, because i dont want to put alot of miles on it, i know i bought it for work, but still since its a Lexus its gonna be super damn expensive for repairs.
It does not turn over, when i try to crank, it just makes grinding noises and i may damage the starter

Your lexus is equipped with an oil life monitor. It takes into account crankcase temperature, moisture in the oil and other stuff and tells you when to change the oil. You should get a message on your display when it's time for a change. Do it within 1000 miles. When you do get the oil changed you must reset the oil life monitor. Check your owners manual for the procedure. Usually the mechanic will do it for you but confirm they do by checking it its set to 100%.

Even if you ignored the maintinance indicator I do not think it would keep your vehicle from starting. I am with others maybe a battery issue.

Give us some more info does it turn over our just clicking when you turn the key?

Edit : if you have not turned it on in 2 months its just a dead battery. Slap a charger on it 2 amps overnight or get it jumped and let it idle for an hour. Then start it up every few days.
