Q. Name your top or best horror movies over the last 10 years and why?
A. 1.Child's Play (Chucky) 1989 - One of the 1st horror movies i saw when i was a kid,i think i about 7 when i watched this movie (What does that say about my parents LOL).
2.Stirs Of Echoes 1999 - Only watched this movie last year but it's a mystery/suspense movie with a twist at the end that will leave you asking questions.
3. Descent 1 2005 - British horror movies don't get the recognition that American horror movies receive but this movie in one of the best British horror movies i've seen.
A group of female explorers find themselves trapped in a cave with menacing monsters and find themselves up against it to escape the cave alive,one of the members accidentally stabs her friend in the neck but you'd have to watch it to find out how that happened.
4.The Mist 2007 - Excellent movie that takes place in a supermarket,not scary by any means but if you're looking for a suspenseful movie with 1 or 2 interesting characters you'll enjoy this movie.There's one character in particular who worships god or is religious i think,anyway she's hilarious even though she's annoying.
5.Inside aka � l'intérieur 2007 - Is a disturbing movie,not one for the faint hearted.It's about a woman who will do anything it takes to steal another woman's unborn baby.The ending of the movie will leave you speechless!
6. Haute Tension 2003 - like Inside is a French horror movie with a twist at the end.This movie takes place mainly in a mansion so will certainly make you feel claustrophobic.The scene where one of the girls hides inside the bedroom wardrobe while her friend gets a certain part of her body slashed is gruesome.
7. Tucker & Dale Vs Evil 2010 - This is a comedy/horror movie about two hillbillies who are mistakenly labelled as evil people after several college students kill themselves accidentally in the most hilarious ways.Apart from Scream 1 and Scary Movie 1 i cannot think of many comedy/horror movies that are great movies because these kind of movies can be silly as we all know.
8.Pulse 2006 is an American remake of Japanese horror movie Kairo which i haven't seen yet.This movie is about people all over the town committing suicides after an unexpected screen pops up on their PC and Laptop monitors.
9.100 Tears 2007 - This is a low budget movie and one of those obscure horror movies that no one talks about mainly due it's popularity/poor rating IMDB rating 4.0.
I read a members comment on here earlier mentioning that she doesn't consider a movie with an IMDB rating of less than 7.0 to be a good movie but if this storyline looks interesting on paper,why not watch the movie and form your opinion on it?Anyway that's what i did and IMDB user Allan Brunke(who's review can be seen on the main page) and we both found this movie entertaining despite it's flaws.This movie features a clown who will kill anyone who gets in his way with his MEAT CLEAVER.

Whats so scary about insidious?
Q. So, I was watching insidious and I left the room because it was so boring, But my mom stayed in the room and kept watching. Then 2 minutes later, I hear a loud scream! My mom was so scared so was my sister. and apparently according to them its ** the scariest movie ever ** and my dad won't let me see it :( Whats so scary about it? And give me a spoiler! I want to know what happens!
A. Seriously, I didnt think it was that scary. It may have been a little intense, but I think people who saw it made it seem alot more scarier when they talk about than what it really is. And all that comes from people who get scared easily , saw a PG-13 horror movie, assumed it wasnt that scary because of its rating, saw it, and now it makes life hard for people who actually enjoy horror films. Basically, the movie wasnt made to be the scariest film ever. The cast probably even knew it wasnt going to be the most terrifying movie ever. But well the "scary" thing is theres alot of loud music. Lots of pop-up scenes. Its not scary just suprising. Well I would need to know where you left off. um. I dont know where to start. Ok well, after Dalton? I think, is in a coma. So one night the parents are chilling in their bed room then someone knocks on the door. So the dad goes downstairs and checks but no ones there. Then meanwhiles hes down there, the mom hears their baby crying on the monitor, the mom goes and she opens the door(the room is next to theirs btw) and when she opens the door, she sees a grown man standing behind the babys crib so she screams and the dad goes up but the dudes dissapeared. So theyre both in the room then the house alarm turns on. The mom gets the children and goes to Daltons room. The dad gets downstairs and the door is wide open. So he turns the alarm off , but hes stupid so he leaves the door open. Checks the house , nothing happens, alarm goes on again then he closes the door finally. Thats it. Resume. Turns out the kid can like Astral Project or.something. Like Lucid Dreaming. So he gets lost in his sleep. So his body has no soul , so demons want to get in it. Cause they want to live again. But theres different kinds, and ome of the most powerful demons is also trying to get in. So thats why theyres a bunch of ghosts and stuff. So the dad has to also astral project to get his son back. He leaves his body, so now in the normal world theyres like twice as much demons now. Cause two bodys are open. So the dad finds him locked up in chains, gets him, so theyre both running back to their body before a demon does and Dalton gets there before that powerful demon does, the one thats been wanting his body the whole movie and well the dad also had a ghost haunting him as a kid and he sees the ghost so hes like GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!! So he gets disttacted and in the movie theyre both facing each other then the ghost just vanishes and back in the normal world he wakes up. So yeah. Everythings back to normal. Then theyre wrapping everything and it turns out that the REAL dad didnt make it back to his body and its that demon so he kills an old lady that the fam hires , she like knows about supernatural forces and that shizzle. Then the movie ends with the wife hearing stuff upstairs cause the dad is choking the old lady, so she goes up, finds the lady dead, then screams JOSH(the dad) WHERE ARE YOU?!! And then you can hear his voice say Here I think. Or in back of you something like that. And thats how it ends. But well its not scary. Idk why ur dad wouldnt let u watch it. Im 13 years old and didnt get freaked out. But my 17 year old brother did so I guess.some ppl get scared easily. But you should watch it. Its alright. Great story but sucky horror content.

Can Anyone Remember This Movie?
Q. My wife and I were discussing classic suspense/thriller/horror films we had seen as kids. Movies like "Mikey" and "Nightmare on Elm Street", "Sorry, Wrong Number (1948)", ect.
There is this one movie that I remember watching, but I cannot remember the name. It was about a tween boy who lives with his father, and he becomes obsessed with this married woman and her young daughter. The kid kills his father and hides him in a freezer. Then he kidnaps the woman's daughter and tricks the woman with a baby monitor in the closet??? I don't remember how it ends, - I think the kid ends up going to jail or dying - I just remember that this creepy kid was trying to be romantic with this 30-something year old woman.
Does anyone remember what this movie was called? I appreciate it.
