A. Great build. however, if you are doing a completely new machine, you should go i7. it's worth the price. If you don't, the 955 is the next best. I would also change the case to a nzxt tempest, antec 900, or coolermaster cm 690(my fav). Overall, good build.

A. looking good, but u should use a single gtx 295 instead and use a 1000watt psu so u can go quad sli later, 4890s are equivelent to gtx 275 which in sli is as fast as a gtx 295 with more power consumption plus all the games that are optimized for nvidia..

A. Sweetheart; from what I see you have done your research and put together a really powerful computer here, and you said just for basic use and gaming, hmmn, you'll be able to do a lot more with this that...

One thing I was wondering is what Tower your going to build this in?

I like either of these try them on for size...
